YCCD at the Young Republican National Convention

YCCD had an excellent time at the Young Republican National Convention this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Young Republicans from across the country were out in force for the biannual national meeting of the Young Republican National Federation. The YRs—who engage young Republicans between the ages of 18-40—play a central role in promoting conservative principles and cultivating the next generation of GOP leaders.

For YCCD, our message about the importance of conservative leadership on climate change was warmly received. In our conversations with YR members and chapter leaders throughout the weekend, virtually everyone agreed that conservatives must lead on climate—to protect the American homeland, stop the Green New Deal, ensure the US successfully competes with China, and win over the next generation of voters.

That’s why the work of YCCD is so critical, and why conservative should champion an effective strategy like the Baker-Shultz Carbon Dividends Plan. Championing a smart, free-market climate solution is the best way to deliver for our country and ensure the strength and success of the conservative movement.
